Ruchi Dass

Dr. Ruchi Dass has been involved in Healthcare IT, e-learning and ICT projects for the public/private sector in India. During this period, she has managed several projects and programs and has in particular worked, as an author, market researcher and business strategist on a large variety of projects and reports related to the deployment of ICT systems in India. Her ‘cradle to implementation’ projects often include evaluation of business plans, conceptual and strategic analysis, project specifications, impact analysis, fund raising and best practices reports on business issues.
Prior to becoming a “Thought leader” for m-Health, Dr Dass led the Business development and Operations of Lifetime Wellness Rx (An Apollo Group Wellness and Disease Management Initiative). Apollo is the largest private Healthcare chain in Asia and third largest in the world. Dr Dass is a Physician with medical technology applied expertise. Dr Dass also holds a Post Graduate in Preventive Healthcare from the prestigious B.R Ambedkar National University.Dr Dass has represented India’s efforts towards bridging the economic and digital divide in Healthcare internationally and is an Advisor to Department of IT, Government of India for the implementation of “Commonwealth Connect Program” across 53 Commonwealth countries.
A sought after name in the field of mhealth,Dr Ruchi Dass was the jury to the most coveted “GSMA’s Best mHealth Innovation Awards 2011” identifying the excellence and innovation in mobile communications that can be of significance to Healthcare. Dr Ruchi Dass has implemented around 67+ mhealth and Healthcare ICT projects across 16 countries in the world. Dr Dass is working with Major Telcos and Healthcare Providers in India and across the world helping them conceptualize and position the mHealth opportunity in diverse economies of scale.
