Ross Macfadyen is a Regional Councilor for the National Autistic Society. Ross is also a committee member and Branch Officer for the South Lanarkshire Branch. Ross Macfadyen also volunteers for Celtic Music Radio. He joined Celtic Music Radio in July 2008. Ross produces and presents "The Saturday Sequence" on Celtic Music Radio. The show incorporates live sessions, artist interviews and the best in all forms of Celtic Music, including "Electric Celtic" featuring the best in Scottish, Irish and Welsh rock and pop. Ross started his radio career on Strathclyde University Student's Union's StrathRadio in 1985. Many years followed of 'off and on' mobile discos and sporadic radio work. Ross Macfadyen also works on a voluntary basis for East Kilbride Newstape Association, producing weekly talking newspapers for the blind and is currently undertaking a project that will move the Association's publications onto digital formats.
