Rosetta Cartwright

Rosetta Cartwright was crowned Miss World Bahamas 2014 on 3rd August 2014 and was represented her country at the Miss World Pageant held in London on the 14th of December 2014. The Queen's Court consisted of the 1st Runner-up Miss World New Providence, Shanae Strachan; the 2nd Runner-up Miss World Ocean Cay, Chantel O'Brien; and the 3rd Runner-up Miss World Paradise Island, Rontre Rolle.
Rosetta hails from Sweeting’s Cay, a small cay in the Bahamas near Grand Bahama Island which contains the nation's second city, Freeport, to the capital city of Nassau. At present, she is a student on the Dean’s List at the College of the Bahamas, and is passionate about inspiring others to remain positive in the face of difficulties. She would like to meet Lupita Nyong’o, whom she says inspired her not to give up on her dreams. This statuesque beauty has a soft spot for children and makes it her mission to ensure that the children she mentors would be able to read and function in their educational pursuits.
Rosetta says that she is not afraid of getting physical, and that she once had to help free a boat that became stuck on a sand bank while trying to get home. Rosetta is known to dance and serenade her friends as her way of trying to brighten their day. Rosetta loves watching cooking shows and is convinced that she is a “Master Chef” however her mother disagrees..
