Roosing

Roosing is a concept created by entrepreneurs Jordan "Bungles" Pilkington and Martin "Zippy" Coutts in 2002 in Liverpool, England.
The action of "roosing" came naturally to these two people and it seemed only right that it should be given a name. A name which now is renowned not only in the UK, but also in Europe.
So what is Roosing we hear you ask? Put simply, Roosing is a verb; a doing word. It's a new verb, sure. But a verb none the less.
Roosing always begins with a one litre bottle of vodka between two people. To say one has roosed it is imperative for the individual to have consumed a minimum of 35cl of vodka prior to going out partying.
To be described as a "rooser" you must tick all of the following boxes:
- Be able to clear a packed dance floor using only ridiculous dance moves.
- You also must be able to experience rejection at twenty paces and revel in it.
- You must be comfortable being described as a "bell end" by fellow partygoers and over time begin to embrace this.
- Roosers readily interact with the police. In the UK you should be regularly threatened with "section five", if you aren't, the you clearly aren't roosing properly.
- Roosers are more than willing to run, stumble or hide behind the nearest police officer at the first sign of trouble. They oppose violence in all its forms.
- Roosing is the main priority for any rooser when out on the town. Conversation, meeting new people, or dancing with others should always come at the very end of the evening after a sufficient amount of roosing has occurred.
- Roosers do not take any drugs.
- Vodka Red Bull is the liquor of choice for a true rooser, this is deemed more than adequate to achieve a premium roosing experience.
- All of the above must be achievable on your own. A true rooser does not need fellow roosers around them to be able to roose. In fact roosing is best done on your own.
