Ronald Rose D

Ronald Rose D (Bureaucrat) is a 2006 Indian Administrative Service cadre (IAS) Bureaucrat and current Special Secretary in Finance Department in Government of Telangana. He also holds additional charge as Secretary for Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS). He earlier served as District Collector for Nizamabad, Medak, Mahbubnagar and Central Zonal Commissioner in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Ronald Rose is a 2006 cadre Indian Administrative officer. He started his career in Telangana Government by working for the welfare of tribals in the remote areas of the state. Later he was posted in Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad as Zonal Commissioner for few years. He was also deputed as Nizamabad District Collector. He ensured completion of drinking water project in Narayanakhed, which is in remote part of Telangana state solving the water requirement for 50,000 people staying in that area.

District Collector Mahbubnagar (2016)(Previous)
Following were his contributions as collector of Mahbubnagar district.
* Making district open defecation free.
* Helping farmers in adopting organic methods.
* Digging soak pits in homes of the town contributing to increasing water levels in district helping filling borewells.
* Helping contribution towards afforestation programmes by planting saplings under Haritha Haaram programme. Mahbubnagar district planted 3.4 crore saplings with each village being supplied 40000 saplings.
* Driving initiatives employing differently-abled persons towards manufacture of solar mini-lights and production of sustainable, efficient, affordable, effective, energy-efficient and non-polluting products for rural areas of district under Divyang Solar Society.
* Implementing drinking water scheme in needful villages.
* Promoting digital learning in schools.
* Promoting religious harmony among people of district.
* Tying up with United Nations Development Programme for selling the organic products.
* Setting up ziplining, zip-cycling, archery and ropeway sport facilities Mayuri Ecopark based in Mahbubnagar district. Zip-Cycling track with 270 metres is longest in India.
* Making efforts to revive a 700-year-old banyan tree, Pillalamarri, in district.
District Collector for Medak (2015)(Previous)
* Making efforts to revive old temples in Medak during his tenure as District Magistrate, Medak.
* Initiating measures on organic farming called "Bhusanjeevini".
* Creating self-employment opportunities in rural areas.
* At least 50 farmers from each mandal of district were encouraged by his administration to cultivate atleast 1 acre of their land using organic farming methods.
* Farmers were provided organic fertilisers consisting of jeevamrutham, panchagavya, vermicompost, at 50 percent subsidy.
* Organic farming training to farmers and agricultural officers.
District Collector for Nizamabad (Previous)
* Enhancing the district amenities in the areas of welfare of women, Children education and improving medical facilities.
* By involving the local villagers and other Government officials he created a system of participative governance.
* Invited suggestions from local people.
* Ensuring Government officials get support for performing their roles.
* Improving drinking water facilities, Sanitation, adopting heealthy lifestyle through nutritional food, children education.
