and Bayberry Ridge in October of 2020.]] Rolling Wood at Flower Hill (also referred to as "Rolling Wood") is a residential subdivision located within the Incorporated Village of Flower Hill, in Nassau County, New York. Description Rolling Wood is built over land that was once owned by Edmund A. Guggenheim, a copper executive in a prominent family that earned their fortune through the mining industry. It consists of 2 sections: Rolling Wood Sections 1 and 2. The subdivision was first planned in the 1930s, with initial development by Ley Homes, Inc. The community was planned to contain a total of 125 homes. Harry Loucks and his father were major realtors and developers on Long Island. Some of the other Long Island in which they were involved in include places in Brookvile, Syosset, and Roslyn Estates. School district zoning Rolling Wood is located within the section of Flower Hill that is served by the Roslyn Union Free School District. See Also
