Rohit Aggarwal is the Founder and CEO of Koenig Solutions Ltd. Koenig Solutions is an IT training company based in New Delhi. The company is the pioneer and world #1 in offshore training. It is an authorized training partner of Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, RedHat, VMware, Citrix, Adobe, EC-Council, Zend, CheckPoint, EMC2, Symantec, Prince2, CompTIA, Novell, LPI etc. Koenig serves clients from more than 50 countries worldwide.
Early life
Rohit Aggarwal, a computer science graduate, founded Koenig Solutions in November 1993. The Information Technology industry was just beginning to lay roots in India at that time. Initially, he started the company to cater to the domestic market. However, when the dot com bubble burst, the firm ran into rough weather. The company struggled to survive in a highly competitive market and suffered huge losses.
When the industry started looking up, Koenig managed to stay afloat because of Mr. Aggarwal's unique idea. He noticed that almost every training batch had one or two students from Europe. He pioneered the concept of Education Tourism in India. Offering accommodation and airfare to offshore students within the training package proved to be a win-win situation for Koenig as well as foreign students. The idea clicked and Koenig's business flourished exponentially. Koenig opened training centers in tourist places such as Shimla, Dehradun, Goa.
Now the company has total five centers in India - New Delhi, Shimla, Goa, Dehradun, Bangalore; and one training facility in Dubai, UAE. Under the leadership of Rohit Aggarwal, Koenig has achieved various milestones, the most recent of which is the launch of the world's largest training center in Delhi.

Philanthropy
An avid blogger and a self-proclaimed student of philosophy, Rohit Aggarwal is associated with various philanthropic causes. He regularly writes on topics close to his heart . Mr. Aggarwal lives by the ideology "Education for All - Everyone a Ph.D", which is also Koenig's Vision statement. Koenig Solutions is engaged in various charitable programs as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility . His pioneering efforts to reduce the school dropout rate for underprivileged students won Koenig the Microsoft Citizenship Partner of the year award for 2009. Koenig's CSR division organizes free of cost tuition classes for government school children who need hand-holding in their studies. Koenig's CSR initiative - Koenig Koshish has six dedicated tuition centers in rural areas of Delhi to help these students cope-up with their studies. The company also distributes course books to students at no cost at all .
Free Vocational Training is another initiative by the company to help those in need to earn a respectable living. Mr. Aggarwal ensures that his company is engaged in these inspiring activities of making world a better place. Other initiatives of Koenig include - blood donation camps, eye donation, Vastra daan (Clothes distribution) among various other initiatives.
