Roey Peleg

Roey Peleg (; born April 19, 1985) is an Israeli social activist. He is among the leaders of the "Submarine Scandal" protests and the Protests against Benjamin Netanyahu.
Biography
Roey Peleg lives in Gat Rimon, a moshav in central Israel.
Social activism
Peleg is among the founders of the "Race for ALS patients" run for charity.
In 2012, Peleg was among the founders of "Riding for the Struggle" (Cancer Disease) charity fundraiser for the furtherment of cancer research in Israel. During this ride, Peleg crossed the United States on a bicycle.
Peleg was among the leading members of the protest convoys to Jerusalem and has led many protests across Israel. Peleg ranks among the initiators of the first "March for Hope" from Jerusalem's Chords Bridge towards the .
Along with Atar Sheinfeld, Peleg established the protest movement "Hakira Achshav" (Investigation Now), demanding the establishment of State Investigation Committee in the "Submarine Scandal". Within this capacity, Peleg initiated and led many protest activities including an underwater submarine protest and motor convoy protests along with large balloons in the shape of submarines.
In July 2020, Peleg was violently removed during a protest by Jerusalem Municipality and Jerusalem Police. During the protest, Peleg was injured in the head by a Jerusalem Municipality enforcer.
Sports career
In 2017, Peleg won first place in the "Ultra Challenge".
