Roberta Marie Munroe

Roberta Marie Munroe is a producer, author, writer/director and Managing Partner of her Los Angeles based film production and consulting company. After 5 years programming at Sundance (2002-2006), Munroe wrote How Not To Make A Short Film: Secrets From A Sundance Programmer (Hachette Books 2009). Munroe has produced over 30 feature and short films (narrative, documentary, experimental and animation), and is a public speaker and film festival juror in Los Angeles, South Carolina, New York, Toronto, San Francisco, Tunisia, and several other cities.
Producer
Munroe has written/directed the shorts Dani & Alice , and Happy Birthday that traveled the festival circuit, won several Best Short Awards and were distributed by Wolfe Releasing via DVD and Netflix. She also wrote, directed and produced two shorts commissioned by the UNFPA (United Nations), Maja and Family Prayers focusing on children, women and reproductive rights in Egypt and Eastern Europe.
