Robert M. Dunn

United States Marine served between 2008-2013, with four tours of consecutive combat duty in Afghanistan. Sgt. Robert M. Dunn, served with the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marines out of Camp Lejuene, NC. Sgt. Dunn Career was ended during an engagement in Korengal on Christmas eve 2012, while in attempt to recover a Cpt. Owens who had been hit in the chest from enemy combatant fire. Sgt. Dunn, was critically wounded and continued to return surpessive fire untill Cpt. Owens was secured on medivac. Silver Star citation to be uploaded. Sgt. Dunn, is the most decorated Marine in Michigan State University history where he attended college.
