Robert T. Lambdin is an American professor and co-author and -editor of several scholarly books about medieval English literature. He has a PhD in English from the University of South Florida, where he met his wife and co-author, Laura L. Lambdin. He is currently adjunct faculty for the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, where he teaches courses on business writing and communication.
Lambdin's work includes Camelot in the nineteenth century : Arthurian characters in the poems of Tennyson, Arnold, Morris, and Swinburne (Greenwood Press, 2000), co-authored with his wife. He has also worked with his wife as co-editor of several works: Chaucer's pilgrims : an historical guide to the pilgrims in The Canterbury tales (Greenwood Press, 1996), A Companion to Jane Austen Studies (Greenwood Press, 2000), A companion to Old and Middle English literature (Greenwood Press, 2002), and Encyclopedia of medieval literature (Greenwood Press, 2000). This last, the Encyclopedia of medieval literature, has won praise for being an invaluable reference book. It was mentioned in a Library Journal book review as being "a monumental work of scholarship" and "essential for academic libraries"
