Robert Hinton

Robert M. Hinton (born August 13, 1984, in Sarasota, Florida) is a minor league baseball pitcher. He is currently a free agent.
Career
Hinton was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 40th round of the 2003 amateur entry draft. He played for their Rookie league Helena Brewers in 2004 and the Class A West Virginia Power, with which he was named to the South Atlantic League All-Star team, in 2005. In 2006, Hinton was promoted to the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees. He played five games for Brevard County in 2007, but spent most of the season at the Double-A Huntsville Stars, where he played the entire 2008 season. He played the majority of 2009 with Huntsville and was named to the Southern League mid-season All-Star team before being promoted to the Nashville Sounds of the Pacific Coast League where he finished the season. Hinton played nearly the entire 2010 campaign at Huntsville, but also played two games at Nashville.
