Road to F.A. Cup. is an addition to the Mockumentary genre, inspired by BAFTA winners The Office and The Thick of It. Road to F.A. Cup focuses on the Croydon Terriers and their meteoric rise throughout the lower divisions of amateur football. The Terriers' series of promotions means they are eligible for entry in to the pre-preliminary rounds of the F.A. Cup. In the series, Croydon Terriers ground-share with local rivals Croydon Athletic, who currently play at the Keith Tuckey Stadium. The 'Terriers' also have a new owner; Niall Reedwood, who buys the club with the ambition to make them all full-time professionals.
