RJ Arkhipov

RJ Arkhipov (Born Ross-Jan Bierczak, 21 September 1991) is a British writer based in Paris, France. Over the past few years, he has written for various publications on the subjects of fashion, art and technology. Since early 2015, he is heading the Influence Paris project.
RJ Arkhipov was born in Newport, Wales in the United Kingdom to mother Lorna Garner (born 1963) and father Stefan Bierczak (born 1962). His younger sister, Saffron Bierczak, was born in 1992. His original name was Ross-Jan Bierczak, but he changed it to RJ Arkhipov in 2014 at the age of 23.
From the age of 11 to 18, RJ Arkhipov attended St. Julian's School during which time he showed an interest for French and subjects relating to the internet. In 2010, at the age of 18, RJ Arkhipov left the UK to pursue his studies at the University of London Institute in Paris where he read French Studies under the dean of the institute, Andrew Hussey.
RJ Arkhipov's career in writing began during his 3 years at the University of London Institute in Paris where he contributed for Parlons, the university publication and upheld a blog which gave him access to the Paris world of fashion.
