RJ Amuthan

Rajaraman Aravamuthan (born 6 March 1993) popularly known as RJ Amuthan, is an Indian radio jockey, occasional cultural show host/ emcee (MC) born at Triplicane, Chennai and now based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is well known for his radio show Gaalidabba on air at online radio station Radio Impact
Early life
RJ Amuthan was born on 6 March 1993 at Triplicane and then he was moved to Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. He did his schooling at Namakkal and later he came back to Chennai for his B.Tech in Information Technology. During his college life he had much interest in playing Cricket. He played state level Cricket for Tamilnadu at the age of nineteen. He says his interest in Radio Jockey gained more space than his interest in Cricket.
Radio career
He started his career as a RJ and attended three auditions around chennai but he was rejected in it. Then he came with an innovative idea of online radio Radio Impact. He also says Radio Impact is a social networking radio hub which was first started in Facebook. The first activity was carried out by recording the audio clipping in a small room using a skype microphone and using basic editing software. Then the audio clipping was posted to facebook and soundcloud. His audio clipping about the problems faced by Final year Engineering students has gone viral in social networking sites like facebook and whatsapp.
Other Works
He also did onstage anchoring in various college around chennai including Anna University. So far he did twelve onstage anchoring around chennai and coimbatore. His first onstage anchoring was done at Anna University. On seeing his performance he was again called for anchoring at Alagappa College of Technology, Chennai. He also acted in a horror short film named Demonte doing the role of a news reporter. He recently did anchoring Rhapsody cultural night for cancer patients fund rising at Rani Seethai Hall , Chennai.
