Richard William Aguirre

Richard William Aguirre (born April 25, 1967) is currently Independent Candidate for Governor of California in 2010. His 2010 Campaign is centered on creating state owned solar panel factories, installing the solar panels on 10 million homes in California, harvesting the surplus power, and selling the power at a profit for the state of California.
Aguirre graduated from La Jolla High School in San Diego, California in 1985, and in 1994 from the University of California at Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economic Geography. His environmental organization Save Sunset Cliffs was founded in San Diego in 2001 has grown into a city advice group for Sunset Cliffs Natural Park in San Diego, CA.
Early years
Aguirre was raised in San Diego and attended San Diego public School system. The Aguirre's are a third generation San Diego Family. Richard's father Tony Aguirre died in 1982 and his mother Sandra Aguirre passed away in 1994.
Business career
Aguirre is a businessman and real estate investor in San Diego, California.
Political career
Aguirre's 2010 Campaign for Governor of California is his first political campaign. Aguirre volunteered for the Bill Clinton Campaign in 1992 and 1996. He also volunteered for Al Gore in 2000 and Barack Obama in 2008.
