Richard Sanchez (born April 5, 1994 in Mission Hills) is an Mexican footballer player currently playing for FC Dallas in Major League Soccer and the Mexico national under-17 football team. Career Youth Born in Michigan, Sanchez moved with his family to Dallas, Texas. He played club football for Texas FC, before moving to Atletico de Madrid U-16 in 2008, in 2009 comeback to Dallas, Texas where he attended FC Dallas Academy. On February 17, 2011 Sanchez signed a professional contract with FC Dallas. Mexico U-17 In January 2011, Sanchez was named the top goalkeeper in the Universidad Catolica (UC - U-17) tournament in Chile, while playing for the Mexican U-17 National Team. Mexico lost 1-0 to Uruguay in the final. He is part of the Mexico´s 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup squad. |
