Emanuel Sebastian Vargas Torus (born February 13, 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a Chilean footballer, who currently plays goalkeeper for Universidad de Chile. Vargas' nickname is "Super Boy." Vargas is the son of former Universidad de Chile goalkeeper Sergio Vargas. He played for Universidad de Chile's youth system until the 2007 Apertura tournament when he became the third goalkeeper for the adult squad. In 2009, he went on loan to Lota Schwager of Primera B, where he made ten league and cup appearances for the first team. He has played for the Chilean U-20 national team. In 2010 he relased his contract with "La U" and signed for Copiapo, without played 1 match in 1st division.
