Richard Perlhagen

Richard Cal Perlhagen (born June 1980) is a Swedish venture capitalist and private equity investor who is a partner in Greybull Capital. He is a director of British Steel Limited, the company formed by Greybull to rescue Tata's Scunthorpe Steelworks from insolvency.
Early life
Richard Cal Perlhagen was born in Sweden in June 1980, the son of pharmaceuticals tycoon Gert Lennart Perlhagen whose money was made through Swedish drugs company Meda AB and who sold out for tens of millions of pounds.
Career
Perlhagen's early career was as an investment analyst for Volati AB in Stockholm from 2005 to 2007. He later moved to London and worked in venture capital for SEB from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, Perlhagen was a founder partner in Greybull Capital with brothers Marc Meyohas and Nathaniel Meyohas who formed the firm following the collapse of Lehman Brothers that year. The firm manages the family investments of the wealthy Meyohas and Perlhagen families and was described by Marc Meyohas as a "family owned, family-run business with interests everywhere" in 2014.
