Richard L. Cassin (born February 13, 1953) is the founder and editor-in-chief of the FCPA Blog, a website for commentary and news about anti-corruption compliance and enforcement. Cassin founded the FCPA Blog in 2007. About 1,700 posts have been published on the FCPA Blog, more than 1,000 of which were written by Cassin. In 2011, he edited a collection of posts from the FCPA Blog written by various other contributors that was published as Be My Guest: Bylined Posts from the FCPA Blog. Collections of posts written by Cassin have been collected in two volumes, Bribery Abroad: Lessons from the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, published in 2008 and a second edition appearing in 2011, which was an Amazon bestseller in the international law category, and Bribery Everywhere: Chronicles From The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, published in 2009. Cassin graduated from Boston College Law School and is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Florida. A law firm he founded, Cassin Law LLC, is based in Singapore. He also serves as non-executive chairman of ethiXbase, the world’s largest anti-corruption compliance database, and as editor-in-chief of the China Compliance Digest.
