Notable resident of Norwalk Ca. Was city's 8th resident to ever be involved in a Major League Baseball draft in 1988. Was chosen 23rd in first round draft by Texas Rangers for a right field position. Played a total of two games for Texas Rangers minor league team Bakersfield Blaze during 1990 season in which he was 3 for 7 with two runs batted in. Ended career in 1990 never making Texas Rangers rotation. Held RBI record for Santa Fe High School season play until 1998. Played Little League Baseball in the city of Santa Fe Springs with Metropolitan Little League for 5 Yrs becoming one of the leagues most productive players to date according to scouting records held by the Texas Rangers organization. |
