Richard A. Cargill

Richard Austen Cargill (born January 25, 1982) is an American heir. He is the son of Austen S. Cargill II, and the great-great-grandson of William W. Cargill,.
Biography
He is a member of the Cargill family and was appointed to the Cargill board of directors in 2016, though he did not previously work for the company. He founded investment company Turas Mara LLC in 2018. He also founded of the Midwest Climbing Academy in Minneapolis in 2012. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2006 with a degree in Geology.
He is on the board of directors of CommonHope, a Guatemala-based non-profit focused on poverty reduction and is the president of the Philotimo Foundation. He has one child.
