Richa Sorot is the pen name of an online personality who teaches the basics of computers as well as biology to many many students of her via e-mails, Orkut, facebook, posting her own written E-books, both in PDF as well as DOC formats. She also posts blogs regularly on her two prominent and quiet famous blogs. She is well popularly known among her students as Tech-Queen.
Origin
Richa Sorot started her carrier in September 2008 on the Social-Networking website of Google, the [http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#Profile?uid=3848038019096624644 Orkut] just as a joke. At the beginning, it had about 55 students for the first session of six months and contained both, the male and female students. Later, the number of students were decreased to 20 per batch and only females were authorised eligible candidates for the further batches.
Soon, Richa expanded her coverage to Yahoo and soon became the Level-2 answers provider in Yahoo-answers with a record of 43% best answers within one week. Later on, Richa also came to facebook.
On feeling that Social-websites is no good idea, and getting serious towards the teaching of basics of computers, Richa started posting on her blog on blogger and a free website under Google sites. She mails her PDF books to her students via e-mail as well as make them available freely on her website.
The writer of these books and blogs does not reveal her identity in open however she leaves a lot of clues in almost all her footages, images, books and posts to enhance the detecting capabilities of her students.
Educational Qualifications
According to her own profiles, she have passed her senior secondary classes as a "Georgian" from Lovedale, India. She is an Alumni from Army Institute of Technology, Pune as a computer engineer (BE) from the University of Pune, India. There are a lot of myths about her present job. Few say that she is still a student but according to her own words, she, as present, runs her own Cyber cafe.
Current Status
Right now, she has expanded her span from just teaching computers to Biology as well. She is no longer posting and mailing regularly but occasionally. Presently, she has completed her 3rd batch under Computers-section and this time, she has opened her 4th batch via online form filling under Google-Docs. At present, she is in her third year of current degree education.
