Pastor Reza F. Safa was born and raised a devout Shiite Muslim in the Islamic Republic of Iran. He left Iran in 1978, one year before the Islamic Revolution of Ayatollah Khomeini. After leaving Iran, Pastor Reza F. Safa heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time in Sweden from several Swedish missionaries. After several months, he dedicated his life to Christianity.
After his conversion to Christianity, Pastor Reza F. Safa founded The Harvesters World Outreach, a worldwide healing and evangelistic ministry. For the past 25 years, Pastor Safa has been holding pastors conferences and mass crusades in over 50 countries. These worldwide evangelistic meetings have reached hundreds of thousands of people in Africa, India, the former Soviet Union, Asia, and Eastern Europe for Christ Jesus.
Pastor Reza F. Safa also founded and is the current president of TBN Nejat TV, the first 24/7 Christian satellite network in the Persian language (Farsi). Pastor Safa also is currently the pastor of Fishermen's House Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Fishermen's House Church
In July of 1998, Pastor Reza F. Safa started Fishermen's House Church in a small hotel meeting room in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Fishermen's House Church holds weekly prayer meetings every Friday night from 9-11 PM and every Sunday morning at 10 AM. Since 1998, Fishermen's House Church moved to their current location - 6847 S. Peoria, Tulsa OK.
TBN Nejat TV
On May 18, 2003, Pastor Reza Safa started airing "Rouze Nejat" or "Day of Salvation" on satellite tv in the Middle East. In spring of 2006, Pastor Reza F. Safa partnered with Paul Crouch at the Trinity Broadcasting Network and started TBN Nejat TV - a full-time twenty-four hour satellite network in the Persian language in the Middle East.
