Rephco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is a public limited pharmaceutical company based in Bangladesh. HISTORY REPHCO was established in the year 1968 under the name 'Rephco Laboratories Limited'. Originally the idea of establishing a pharmaceutical manufaturing company was conceived by late Mr. Khalilur Rahman Akon, the Founder Chairman along with some enthusiastic Physicians, Representatives of some pharmaceutical companies and some Pharmacists. Hence the name "REPHCO" came where "RE" stands for Representative "PH" stands for Physicians and Pharmacists and "CO" stands for Company. Thus REPHCO has brought the whole ranks of medical professionas under one umbrella of faith and confidence. And, the dream came to a reality. In 2011 the company renamed itself to Rephco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. *It was licensed in 1968 and started functioning from Barisal where it is today. *for its' effective quality management system the company achived the ISO 9001-2000 certification in 2006. International Award Rephco Pharmaceuticals Limited received International Star Award for Quality in the International Quality Summit from Business Initiative Directions. The convention was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva on 30th September 2012. The company's managing director Mr. Dedarul Alam received the ISAQ award from Mr. Jose E. Prieto, President & CEO of Business Initiative Directions (BID).
