Recovery Centers of America
|
Recovery Centers Of America, is a private health insurance based addiction treatment provider that is in-network with most major insurance plans in their area of operation. They have locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, and offer interventions, detoxification, inpatient residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive and traditional outpatient treatment as well as medication-assisted treatment programs. History Recovery Centers of America was founded in 2014 by entrepreneur Brian O'Neill and addiction expert Dr. Deni Carise as a response to the opioid epidemic. They pioneered the in-network insurance, in-neighborhood addiction treatment model at a time when self-pay, fly to another state addiction treatment was the dominant norm. Their first facility focusing on inpatient drug and alcohol treatment launched in 2016 in Mays Landing, New Jersey and was soon followed by two more addiction treatment facilities in Westminster, Massachusetts and Earleville, Maryland. In 2017 Recovery Centers of America opened two new addiction treatment facilities, first in Danvers, Massachusetts, and second, their largest, in Devon, Pennsylvania. The same year, it opened its first Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) facility in Trenton, New Jersey and began adding MAT as an option at existing facilities in order to expand the number of treatment options available to opiate-dependent patients. In 2018, Recovery Centers of America opened another inpatient and outpatient treatment facility in Waldorf, Maryland, named the Maryland Center for Addiction Treatment (MCAT). It's second Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) facility was opened in 2019 in Somerdale, NJ which offers methadone and suboxone as treatment options just like the first MAT facility.
