Ray Putterill

Ray Putterill (born 3 February 1989) is an English footballer who currently plays for Liverpool.

He is a Liverpool-born left-midfielder who came through the youth academy at Liverpool, was a key member of the FA Youth Cup winning team and 2007. In the summer of 2007, Ray, along with Jay Spearing and Martin Hansen, were called up to train at Melwood, and he scored in his first team debut in a friendly against Crewe Alexandra. Ray also scored in his reserve team debut.

He was given the number 35 shirt for the 2007-08 season, and was named on the bench for the first time in a Football League Cup tie against Reading. He is sometimes known as "Razor".
