Ray Liversidge

Ray Liversidge (born 1949) is an Australian poet

Liversidge was born in Melbourne and has lived in different suburbs of that city. His first book, Obeying the Call, was published in 2003. His second book, The Barrier Range, is a verse novel about the author's search for his uncle who lived in Broken Hill. The book draws heavily on the exploits of early Australian explorers Charles Sturt, and Burke and Wills. The Barrier Range was mentioned by Kris Hemensley on blogger.com 2006-07-30. Later that year he undertook a reading tour in regional Victoria and interstate to promote the book.
