Rasmus Tauts

Rasmus Tauts (born 7 January 1997) is an Estonian footballer, who plays as a forward for FA Tartu Kalev.
Career
Club career
Tauts is a product of Tartu JK Tammeka. In 2012, he garnered the award as the league's scorer award in his age group league with 47 goals. Tauts began playing for the clubs first team in 2013. He made 77 league appearances until it was confirmed in the summer 2016, that he would move to the United States to study cyber security at the Maryville University. Beside that, Tauts played for the university's football team Maryville Saints.
In his first season in the Maryville Saints, Tauts made 16 appearances, two of them from the start, and made a total of 0 goals and 4 assists. In his second season, he played six games before he was injured. Tauts returned to Tammeka in the summer 2017 to play for the club during the summer break in USA, which he also did in the following two summers (2018 and 2019).
Finishing his bachelor's degree in 2020, Tauts returned to Estonia again. Tauts made a total of 53 games for Maryville Saints, with four goals scored and 15 assists. He then decided to continue playing in the lower leagues due to work responsibilities, although Tammeka wanted him to come back and play for them. He ended up signing for 3rd division club FA Tartu Kalev.
