Ras Dva is a record label that focuses on industrial music. The label was founded by Ric Laciak, a disc jockey for WMSE in Milwaukee and writer for Industrial Nation magazine. It was originally started as "GAWMUS," a fan club for members of the band Leæther Strip. The name "Ras Dva" was chosen by Laciak in honor of his ethnic roots; the term literally means "One Two" in Slovak. In 1995, Ras Dva released There Is No Time, a compilation of the industrial music scene. This inspired Jim Semonik to produce his own compilation series, Electronic Saviors: Industrial Music to Cure Cancer beginning in 2010.
