Mixed Media (band)

Mixed Media was a Swedish band formed in Malmö in 1974.
Band history
The group was awarded the "surprise prize" to an unstablished artist / group at Visfestivalen i Västervik in Västervik in 1976. The original members of the group were Elisabeth Barkstedt, Kersti Olin, Lena Olin and Ingalill Persson-Dunsö. Kersti Olin left the group after the first album and was replaced by Ellen Olterman.
In 1978, Mixed Media's first album, "Mixed Media", which is self-titled, was released. Dan Gisen Malmquist, Ale Möller and Peps Persson made contributions to the album.
In 1979, Mixed Media's second album, Levande, was released. The album was recorded live at Pustervikskällaren in Gothenburg, Sweden the same year.
In 2006, a compilation album called Komplett featuring remastered versions of every song from both albums, plus a track called "Stairway To Heaven" as a bonus track, was released on CD by Mixed Media Records, a now-defunct record label founded by Dan Tillberg. This music was originally released on Tillberg's former record label Bellatrix, which operated from 1978-1980.
