:For the football player see Randy Scott (born October 27, Newton, Kansas) is a Seattle radio personality who formerly worked on the Ichabod Caine Morning Show heard weekday mornings 5 AM - 10 AM on 94.1 FM KMPS. Born and raised in Kansas, Randy attended both high school and college in Hesston, Kansas. He started his career in western Kansas working at KIUL AM and KWKR FM Garden City. For a time he also worked at Country Music radio station KFDI FM in Wichita under the guidance of broadcaster Ol' Mike Oatman. After leaving Kansas, Randy began the Seattle leg of his career at 96.5 FM KYCW. After the station changed format, Randy was moved to KMPS as the full-time fill in for Ichabod Caine when he would go on vacation. Eventually Caine made Randy a full-time player on the show and currently serves as co-host. The morning show staff on KMPS (M-F) has now been reduced to Randy Scott and Steven Kilbreath, as Ichabod and Scallops have chosen not to renew their contract with KMPS. |
