Rancho Cascades

Rancho Cascades is a community in the City of Los Angeles located about 25 miles northwest of downtown. It is located east of Interstate 5 along and south of Interstate 210
"Rancho" refers to the many small equestrian ranchos among the properties in the area. Public equestrian amenities include bridle trails, mountain riding trails, and an equestrian riding ring.
"Cascades" refers to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power structure on the hill above the area. The structure adds air to imported water from time to time. Sometimes at night the "Cascades" are illuminated with various colored lights and are visible throughout the San Fernando Valley.
