Ramnath Chellappa

Ramnath K. Chellappa currently teaches at the Goizueta Business School, Emory University.
Studies
He is an Associate Professor of Information Systems & Operations Management and teaches in the MBA and PhD programs. Previously he served on the faculty of Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California where he was a founding co-director of the Electronic Economy Research Laboratory and also taught in several executive programs including the Master of Medical Management program. He holds a PhD in Management from the Information, Risk and Operations Management department at the McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin.
Prof. Chellappa gave the first academic definition of the term Cloud Computing in 1997.
