Rajiv Arora

Rajiv Arora is an Indian politician, businessman, speaker, social cultural activist and the founder of Amrapali Jewels.
Career
Rajiv Arora did his honors and Post graduation from Rajasthan University. He has also completed MBA from R.A. Podar Institute of Management, Rajasthan.
In Janruary 2018, Rajiv and Rajesh opened Amrapali Museum and a research center for showcasing Indian jewelry for designers who are keen to study the Traditional Indian jewelry design.
Rajiv Arora along with Raghavendra Rathore conceived the idea of Gurukul School of Design, he is one of the brain child behind the institute which opened in 2018 in Jaipur.
Government
Arora is the former Chairman of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation, Government of Rajasthan.
He was a member of the Central Board of Film Certification body in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
He was the vice-chairman of Rajasthan Foundation, a government organization.
Amrapali Jewels
In February 2017, Arora was invited by Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom for a reception at Buckingham Palace.
Arora made the gifts that were presented to former US President Bill Clinton and his daughter Chelsea Clinton during his presidential visit to India in March 2000 on behalf of the Rajasthan Government.
Politics
Rajiv started his career in politics while pursuing honors in political science as Indian Youth Congress president of Rajasthan University. Later he became the Founder Member of NSUI.
In 2001, Rajiv was appointed as the Chairman of the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) and Rajasthan State Hotels Corporation Limited, Government of Rajasthan.
He is also the Vice-President of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee. and the former Vice-Chairman of Rajasthan Foundation (Minister of State).
Rajiv Arora was appointed as the Regional Co-ordinator (West Zone) of All India Professionals Congress, in charge Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Dadra-Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
He is the president of the Federation of Rajasthan Exporters.
In July 2020, the Enforcement Directorate and the Income Tax Department conducted raids on the offices and residences of Arora and others, as part of a broader investigation of an alleged conspiracy to target chief minister Ashok Gehlot and his associates.
Sadbhavna ke Sipahi and Organ Donation
Sadbhavna ke Sipahi is a social forum established for promoting Social Unity and spread a message of Brotherhood, peace and harmony. It was launched by Sunil Dutt in 2002 and has its branches in all across the country.
Rajiv Arora was appointed as Coordinator of Sadbhavna Ke Sipahi in 2003 for the Rajasthan State. Rajiv organised a movement 'Sadhbhavna Abhiyan' just after appointed as coordinator. Sadbhavna Abhiyan started from Alwar and went on to 5 districts of Rajasthan.
He is the chairman of Jaipur Citizen Forum & MFJCF (Mohan Foundation and Jaipur Citizen Forum) which started Cadaver organ transplant movement in Rajasthan.
