RainGlobes

RainGlobes is the name of a novelty product put out by RainGlobes LLC that resembles a snow globe and marketed as "the globe that rains!" The product differs from snow globes in that it is partially filled with water and mimics rainfall rather than being filled with water and another product.
RainGlobes were conceived by Josh James and Fred Northup after they questioned the sale of snow globes in Seattle when the city is more known for its rain. They later came up with the product's design and marketed it with an former classmate of Northup's.
