Railway Transport of Ukraine () is a Ukrainian scientific and practical academic journal dedicated to the issues of rail transport in Ukraine. Founded in 1996, it is published four times a year by the Rail Transport Scientific and Engineering Institute, a branch of JSC Ukrainian Railways ("Ukrzaliznytsia"). Articles are published in the original language. Authors share the latest relevant news, insights and results of experiments within the community of engineers, scientists and railway workers of Ukraine. General information The journal Railway Transport of Ukraine has been published since May 1996 (registration certificate KV No. 1429 dated 10 May 1995). The founder of the publication is the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine, whose legal successor is Joint Stock Company "Ukrainian Railways" (JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia"). The journal is published by the Research and Design and Technological Institute of Railway Transport (NDKTI), a branch of the JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia". The previous publisher was the editorial office of the newspaper Maghistral (). According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 11 July 2019 No. 975, the publication is included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, which may publish the results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy. The articles published in the journal Railway Transport of Ukraine are included in the national abstract database "" and the search engine Google Scholar. The editor-in-chief of the publication is a Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor . The previous editors-in-chief were Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zaitsev, PhD in Engineering, Valeriy Mykolayovych Samsonkin, PhD in Engineering, Professor, and , PhD in Economics, Corresponding Member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine. Indexes of the journal in the Catalogue of Subscription Publications of Ukraine are 74126 (for individual subscribers) and 40294 (for enterprises and organisations). The electronic versions of the journal's issues are stored in the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and are presented on the portal in the information resource ‘Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine’.
