Rahim Oberholtzer

Rahim Oberholtzer is an American former game-show contestant, who broke the previous single player winnings record for a game show with his 2000 performance on Twenty One. His record has since been surpassed as well.
Born to a German father (Robert) and a Pakistani mother (Nargis), Rahim Oberholtzer was born in Texas, but raised in Maine.
In his four wins and bonus games, Oberholtzer won $1,120,000, which broke the previous single player winnings record held by John Carpenter, who won $1 million on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. A few weeks later, Oberholtzer's own record was broken on Greed by Curtis Warren, who added $1 million to his previous show winnings, giving him $1,410,000 in cash.
Oberholtzer ranks eleventh on the all-time winnings list in terms of U.S. quiz shows. He was since passed by Carpenter, who won $125,000 during the
Millionaire tournament of champions, Ashlee Register, winner of the Duel tournament in 2007 (notice that the weekly series with the $500,000 top prize started in April 2008), also becoming the highest female winner of all time, and the first two millionaires on ', Adam Rose and Michael Haynes.
