Rah Crawford

Reginald "Rah" Crawford (born 7 April 1973) visual artist and founder of Npic Art. His work typically involves mixed media, oils or acrylic mediums. ABC News reported "An artist from Philadelphia who emerged on the international art scene Rless than 5 years ago is already helping to define contemporary art." On May 17, 2011 his painting shoes were added to the perEmanent collection of the SONS Museum in Belgium. Honored as a in his hometown of Philadelphia, he resides in Brooklyn New York.
Crawford was born in Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he attended summer art camps, theatre, and ballet classes. Crawford declined a four year scholarship to the University of the Arts, and after ten yeras created Npic Art, a two dimensional interactive approach to art. This new method of the Neo-pop movement in contemporary art invites the viewer to engage the work by researching the clued text used in the works, thereby adding a new contextual layer to explore.
