Rafay Rashdi

Rafay Akbar Rashdi (born 16 January 1982) is a Pakistani filmmaker, film director, screenwriter, producer and music producer. He is the son of acclaimed TV and Radio personality Mahtab Akbar Rashdi.
Rashdi is about to make his debut as a director and producer in the upcoming Pakistani feature film Thora Jee Le.
Life and career
Rafay Rashdi was born in Hyderabad, Pakistan. His father Akbar Rashdi is a retired bureaucrat and mother Mahtab Akbar Rashdi is a renowned radio and TV personality. Rashdi has done his bachelors in Business Technology Management from Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada and Masters from City, University of London, in Business System Analysis and Design. He has previously directed short films and web series.
He is also a part-time music producer, and has numerous releases on his label imprint Rashdi Records.
Filmmaking
Rafay Rashdi’s directorial debut feature film Thora Jee Le is slated to release early 2017 which will be under the banner of 1nfluence of which Rashdi is the Chief Executive.
