Radyo Kabayan

Radyo Kabayan (Call sign: Radyo KBYN) is a Filipino internet radio station broadcasting live in stereo mode 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using Shoutcast cross platform. It plays mostly OPM music and Adult Contemporary music on its radio show and day to day programming. Radyo Kabayan is a 100% supporter and promoter of aspiring and talented Independent/ Unsigned (Indie) Filipino artists and would like them to be successful.
History
Radyo Kabayan is owned by FRMC Business Ventures and it was created by Engr. Francis Ray Cecilio a.k.a. DJ Stingray/ Sir Funkeemasta of Abuyog, Leyte Philippines way back October 2010 in Singapore. DJ Stingray is an Electronics and Communication Engineer (ECE) by profession is also an online technology savvy in which he started it all as a hobby only. He is the one also created the website of Radyo Kabayan and including the official Radyo Kabayan iOS and Android mobile apps. He named it Radyo Kabayan because his purpose is to unite the Filipino kababayan communities in abroad especially the Overseas Filipino Workers or OFWs through music and entertainment. According to him, he's already happy whenever there are 5 people listening all over the world during the early days of Radyo Kabayan. He contacted his longtime friend and a fellow Abuyognon Ryan Villamor a.k.a. DJ Private Ryan who is a professional Radio Presenter and a Disc Jockey in a local FM station in Cebu City, Philippines. DJ Private Ryan become the first DJ as well the co-founder of Radyo Kabayan. Radyo Kabayan was launched in Fuente Osmeña, Cebu City Philippines on December 29, 2010 after 2 months of test broadcast with DJ Private Ryan and DJ Baby AL as the host of the program. Since then, Radyo Kabayan become big and currently have an active DJs in different parts of the world. In June 18, 2016 Radyo Kabayan website domain name was change to www.radyokabayan.org from www.radyokabayan.com.
