History
Radivision was founded by Mona DeFrawi, a serial entrepreneur active in the Silicon Valley, DC, Wall Street, and MENA regions. She has founded four startups and was a team member of 5 companies, four of whom she helped execute IPOs, private placements, aftermarkets and PR, and the fifth was a first time private equity fund, for whom she helped raise $500M in 6 months as a founding Director. DeFrawi pioneered the first “Pre-IPO” “Private Market Platform”, InsideVenture, in 2008 which was acquired by SecondMarket in 2010. DeFrawi helped raise/place over six billion dollars of equity investments over her career, and authored and lobbied successfully venture capital legislation.
When DeFrawi’s work required significant international travel in recent years, she became aware of the massive challenges global entrepreneurs faced in their nascent ecosystems that lacked the resources, shared knowledge base, mentors, investors and more, that Silicon valley enjoyed in great abundance.  This inspired the creation of Radivision as a global entrepreneurial community network designed to provide role models, share critical knowledge, deliver consumer eyeballs, and more. Radivision’s mission to ignite the entrepreneurial ecosystem for global economic growth and empowerment served as the core of the platform and product design.
In 2017, Radivision launched its first two series, Driven and The Visionaries. These two series are digital, short-form, unscripted programs highlighting rising and successful entrepreneurs and immerse viewers in the day to day reality of their lifestyle, and were both selections for the 2018 Hollyweb Film Festival. Radivision’s original series were recognized by the 2018 Telly Awards as a Silver Winner for online video series.<ref name=":0" />
