Radio Aleluya WRAR 1700 AM

Radio Aleluya WRAR 1700 AM is a Latin radio station in Rochester, New York. It is a non-profit station and it is operated by the Christian ministry New Day Global Mission. It is currently the only station in Rochester broadcasting completely in Spanish.
History
Radio Aleluya began with online station broadcasting through the website Aleluya.com in 2001. It was the idea of a local pastor, Natividad Fermín, from New Day Church in Rochester. The station began broadcasting via the frequency WRAR 1700 AM in November 2010, under a program of the Federal Communications Commission that assigns frequencies to community organizations.
Programming
Radio Aleluya's programming is entirely in Spanish, including music of different genres from Latin America, news and content from local programmers and spots from national ministries. Programs include "Unshackled", produced by the ministry Pacific Garden Mission, which is a radio drama based on testimonies from people who have overcome additions after hearing the Gospel. It also broadcasts the "Ankerberg Minute", the UN News Service, "Luis Palau Program" and "Un Mensaje a la Conciencia from Brother Pablo".
Local programs include "Pensando Como Mujer", "Nuevo Día Para Todos", "The Pastoral Prayer", live services from New Day Church and daily live broadcasts.
