Rachel Lin Weaver

Rachel Lin Weaver (born in Austin, TX) is an American artist, independent filmmaker, and educator working in video art, experimental film, documentary, sound art, transmission art, and performance art.
Weaver studied at Berea College and later earned an MFA from the Indiana University School of Art and Design. As a filmmaker, Weaver has worked on numerous independent projects, on installation commissions and projection-based works for clients such as Kenneth Willardt, and on documentaries for National Geographic.
Weaver is the co-director of the New Orleans-based organization Cinema Reset, which works "to bring exciting new media works to New Orleans, facilitate community media arts workshops, and champion diverse creative voices on the front lines of emerging art and storytelling forms."
Exhibitions
Weaver has recently exhibited work at the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art (CICA) Museum in Gyeonggi-do, Korea, [http://www.iranartists.org/# Iranian Artists Forum] in Tehran, Iran, and Art Video Israel festival in Jerusalem, Israel.
