Rachael Stewart is a Northern Irish child singer. She is best known for winning the Young Star Search in 2007. Rachael polled the majority of 30,000 radio phone in votes on Belfast CityBeat in July 2007 and in September 2007 brought out her first CD locally. A native of Newtownards, County Down, she is Ireland's youngest pop singer. In November 2007, she headed a group of six to form the "Young Star Group". Stewart and the other finalists toured Northern Ireland's civic Christmas events and performed a version of "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" to over 100,000 people. The biggest audience was at Belfast City Hall, where she supported Shayne Ward in front of a record 18,000 people. Stewart also went on to secure the main part in the 's Christmas pantomime in Belfast.In october 2008 Rachel went onto the Newcastle Star search witch she was looked after by Citybeat youngstar Chico Tribute .
