RaboPlus is the brand name for online only services offered by Rabobank. RaboPlus operates in Australia, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland (operating under the name of RaboDirect), Belgium and New Zealand. RaboPlus offers products and services including: *On-Call savings accounts *Term deposits *Managed funds New Zealand It is the only bank in New Zealand whose parent company is rated AAA by Standard & Poor's. The money invested is used in the New Zealand rural sector. The bank advertises to customers as "Your significant other bank". It offers online on call savings accounts to customers, but does not offer cheque (current) accounts. Customers are expected to use other banks for day to day banking activities, and use a direct debit to deposit money. Since it opened it has gathered over $500 million in deposits (as of August 2006). Australia On the 23 May 2007 Rabobank also opened a RaboPlus Internet bank in Australia.
