R. James Breiding is the owner and founder of Naissance Capital. He was formerly managing director of Templeton, a director of Rothschild Corporate Finance and vice president of Bank Julius Baer. He qualified as a chartered accountant and served as a senior manager with Price Waterhouse Coopers.
He has degrees from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and IMD in Lausanne. Breiding is the author of Swiss Made - The Untold Story Behind Switzerland’s Success, and Too Small to Fail - Why Some Small Nations Outperform Larger Ones and How They Are Reshaping the World. He lectures and is a fellow at Harvard’s Center for International Development and Collegium Helveticum (ETH/University of Zurich) and has lectured at Beijing University, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Princeton University.
