Qumazani

Qumazani is mass self flagellation ceremornies of Shia Muslims on the days of Ashoora and Arba'een.
Suffering and cutting the body with knives or chains (matam) Qumazani was banned by the Shi'a Marja' Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Sistani and Hezbollah in Lebanon but still is practiced in Bangladesh and India.
Other s like Mohammad al-Husayni al-Shirazi and promote hemic flagellation rituals as a way of preserving the revolution of Imam al-Husayn.
Many mourned religious customs show solidarity with Imam Husayn a.s. and his family but Qumazani does not show this. Qumazani may insult or harm to the Shia Islam, So it is Haram during the reign of Wilayat Fiqh.
In some countries, Shi'a communities organize blood donation drives with organizations like the Red Cross to save the lives of the people with religious discrimimation.
