Quarter Club

The Quarter Club is a South Australian philanthropic organisation founded by the South Australian Olympic Council which raises funds to support Australian Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games athletes. It was established in 2003. The Club's goal is to raise $250,000 each year. The Chairman of the Club is prominent South Australian businessman Robert Gerard Its major annual fundraising activity is the annual South Australian Premier's Gala Games Appeal Dinner. The 2008 dinner was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Australia Zhang Junsai . The next annual dinner will be convened at the Adelaide Convention Centre in August 2010. |
