Qatar Balloon Festival

The Qatar Balloon Festival is a hot air balloon festival that takes place in Qatar during December. The first edition of the Qatar Balloon Festival took place in Qatar in 2019. The festival was held for 12 days, from December 7 to 18, 2019 at Aspire Park, Doha. The Qatar Balloon Festival 2019 brought together 33 Hot Air Balloon Pilots with an amalgamated Global experience of 450 years. Along with the pilots, a total of 196 crew comprised an intrinsic part of flight operations on each of the 12 days of the festival. During the festival, Hot Air Balloon operators put on a spectacle for the general public to witness such as; races; evening ‘night glows’; rides, and various other activities. The Qatar Balloon Festival 2nd edition is an 11 day festival of Hot Air Balloons where 30 balloons will be participating from around the world.
